TaazaPulse is an independent digital news outlet from Pakistan. This page sets out — in public, so readers can hold us to it — how stories are found, verified and published here.
Where our stories come from
- Mainstream reporting: Dawn, Geo News, ARY News, Dunya News, Samaa TV, Express Tribune and The News.
- Official sources: government notifications and documents (Petroleum Division, OGRA, the State Bank, the Election Commission, court orders), and statements that parties and institutions issue to the press.
- X (Twitter) as a speed layer: official and verified accounts — including the DG ISPR, government, parties and journalists who break news — plus Pakistan trends. An X post becomes a TaazaPulse story only when it is the official account's own post, or when a mainstream source above confirms it.
Verification before publication
No story is published on a single weak source. A fact carried by one unconfirmed report is either dropped or published with explicit attribution ("reported by X"). We never invent facts, quotes, figures, scores, names or timings. Items concerning the army or ISPR are published only from the official DG ISPR source — never from a tweet summary or a TV ticker alone.
Neutrality
TaazaPulse is politically independent. Every side's verified statement is reported as it was stated, and news copy stays neutral: readers get the facts and each side's position, and draw their own conclusions.
The rates desk
Petrol, diesel, dollar, gold and silver figures are printed only when they are backed by that day's official notification, the State Bank's closing rate, or the recognised market association. No notification, no number — we would rather publish no rate than a wrong one.
Images
Photographs and illustrations on TaazaPulse are editorial images. Where an image is an illustration rather than a photograph of the event itself, it is chosen to represent the story's subject and is never presented as a photo of a specific real moment or person.
Corrections
Errors are corrected openly under our corrections policy: the page is fixed and an update note records what changed. To report an error, email the news desk at taazapulsepk@gmail.com.
Who is behind a story
Stories are reported and edited by the TaazaPulse News Desk and carry its byline. See also our about page.
